Dr. Saad Usmani, MSD

Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology
Dr. Saad Usmani is a board-certified periodontist with advanced training in dental implantology, soft and hard tissue augmentation, and regenerative periodontal therapies. He received his dental degree in 2012 and went on to complete his residency in periodontics, along with a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD), at Case Western Reserve University.
With over 12 years of clinical experience—and more than six years as a practicing periodontist and implant surgeon—Dr. Usmani is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care using the latest techniques and technology. He has completed over 200 hours of continuing education and remains committed to lifelong learning.
Dr. Usmani takes a patient-centered, transparent, and collaborative approach to care. Every treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored to the individual, with an emphasis on clear communication—both with patients and referring doctors—to ensure a smooth, coordinated experience.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of both the American Academy of Periodontology and the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry.
Dr. Usmani lives in Chicago’s South Loop with his wife, a local endodontist, and their young son. Outside the office, you’ll often find him on the golf course, at the gym, or planning his next travel adventure.
